Image to Searchable PDF
OCR runs in this browser with locally hosted code and language data. Images, filenames, and recognized text are not uploaded or stored.
JPEG, PNG, or WebP. Up to 20 images and 100 MB total.
OCR is an estimate. Review names, numbers, punctuation, columns, and small print against the source before using the result.
Output
Image pages with searchable text.
- One PDF page for each selected image
- English, Polish, or bilingual OCR
- Searchable text layer behind the scan
- Local generation and download
Searchability does not guarantee perfect text. Verify names, numbers, and legal or financial content against the visible scan.
Use it well
Searchable does not mean error-free.
OCR makes image-only pages easier to search and copy from, but it can misread characters and layout. Keep the original scans and verify important content.

Common questions
Is the PDF created on the server?
No. Tesseract creates each searchable page locally and the bundled PDF library joins those pages in this browser.
Can I reorder pages?
The first release follows the order supplied by the file picker or drop operation. Rename or select files in the intended page order before creating the PDF.
Can I use an existing PDF as input?
Not in this tool. It accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP images. Use an image export of each scan page when OCR is needed.
