Evidence-led findings
Section extraction review
This tool reviews structural extractability, not rankings or guaranteed AI citations. It cannot verify factual accuracy, originality, expertise, source quality, indexing, retrieval, or how a specific AI system processes the page.
What the review covers
Structure, context, and evidence.
- Readable text after scripts and hidden markup are excluded
- H1 plus independently understandable H2 and H3 sections
- Direct answers under question-led headings
- Primary entity context and concise definitions
- Quantified claims, nearby links, author, and date signals
- Long sections, boilerplate share, and JSON-LD presence
The observations describe supplied markup. They do not simulate a proprietary retrieval system or verify whether a source deserves to be cited.
Use it well
Make every useful section understandable on its own.
Clear sections help readers, search systems, and retrieval pipelines locate the right passage. State the entity, answer the section question early, preserve necessary context, and place trustworthy sources beside claims that need them. Do not repeat phrases mechanically or manufacture authority signals.

Common questions
What does AI extractability mean?
It describes whether useful visible passages can be separated from navigation and understood with enough context. It does not mean that a model will crawl, index, retrieve, cite, or trust the page.
How do I make a page easier for AI systems to understand?
Use one clear topic, descriptive section headings, concise explanations, consistent entity names, visible evidence, and enough context inside each important section. Optimize for a person who lands directly on that passage.
Does this checker guarantee citations in AI Overviews or assistants?
No. Citation and retrieval depend on systems and signals this browser-only review cannot observe. The checker only reports structural evidence and gaps in the content you supply.
Should I paste source HTML or rendered HTML?
Rendered HTML is usually more representative because templates and blocks have already produced the visible document. The parser is inert and removes scripts, styles, templates, noscript blocks, SVG content, and explicitly hidden markup before counting text.
Why does the tool ask for a primary entity?
A section can become ambiguous when extracted without its surrounding page. Consistent entity naming helps preserve meaning. Use the Structured Data Studio to describe the same real entity in JSON-LD when appropriate.
How long should an extractable section be?
There is no universal word target. The tool flags sections above 600 words only as a review prompt. Split a section when the subject changes, not merely to satisfy a number.
Are question headings and short answers always better?
No. They are useful for genuine how-to and definition intent, but forcing every heading into a question can make a page repetitive. The answer still needs accuracy, nuance, and supporting context.
Does llms.txt make a page extractable or rank it in AI search?
No. llms.txt is an optional experiment and not a ranking or citation requirement. Important information should remain crawlable and visible in the page itself.
How should I review sources, authors, and experience?
The checker can detect basic markup signals but cannot judge whether they are credible. Use the E-E-A-T Evidence Checker for a separate evidence-led editorial review.
Is my HTML or text uploaded?
No. Pasting, local file reading, parsing, analysis, and JSON report generation happen in this browser. The tool does not fetch a URL or store the supplied content.
