Structured Data Studio
Runs in this browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or sent to a validation API.
Passing this local check does not guarantee a Google rich result. Test the published page with the Schema.org validator and the Google Rich Results Test when the selected type is supported.
Validation layers
Correct syntax is only the first check.
- JSON syntax and safe script output
- Schema.org context and expected type
- Profile-specific required fields
- HTTP and HTTPS URL checks
- Dates, currencies, ratings, and breadcrumb positions
- Explicit visible-content confirmation
Passing this local validation does not guarantee eligibility, indexing, ranking, a rich result, or an AI citation. Validate the final published page with the relevant external tools.
Use it well
Describe the visible page, not the page you wish you had.
Structured data should identify real entities and facts already available to readers. Complete the visible page first, generate the matching JSON-LD, publish both together, and test the final URL.

Common questions
How do I generate JSON-LD schema markup?
Choose the page type, enter facts that are visible on that page, confirm the content match, and select Generate and validate. Copy the resulting script into the matching page only.
What is JSON-LD?
JSON-LD is a machine-readable JSON format for linked data. On a web page it is commonly placed in a script element with the application/ld+json type.
Does structured data improve AI visibility?
It can help machines identify entities and relationships, but there is no special AI schema and no guarantee of retrieval, citation, ranking, or inclusion in an AI response.
Is there a special YMYL or E-E-A-T schema type?
No. Do not invent one. Publish real authorship, review, source, organization, policy, and update evidence in visible content. Review those signals with the E-E-A-T Evidence Checker.
Which Product markup should I choose?
Use Product available to purchase when the page contains a real direct offer. Use Product page without direct purchase for an editorial or informational product page, and only include genuine visible ratings, reviews, or offers.
Can JSON-LD contain information that users cannot see?
Do not use the generator that way. Structured data should represent the main visible page content and must not invent ratings, prices, credentials, reviews, or affiliations.
Why can valid schema fail to produce a rich result?
Valid syntax is only one requirement. Search systems also consider page access, content quality, feature-specific policies, data accuracy, relevance, and whether that result type is supported. Display is never guaranteed.
Should I add FAQ schema to every FAQ section?
No. Ordinary FAQ content can still help readers, but Google generally limits FAQ rich results to well-known government and health sites. QAPage is for a single question with user-submitted answers, not a normal authored FAQ.
How do I add the generated script to WordPress?
Use a method that preserves the JSON-LD script on the matching page, such as an appropriate SEO field or a controlled Custom HTML block. Avoid duplicate markup from multiple plugins and inspect the published HTML.
Does TomSEOTools send my business or product data anywhere?
No. Generation and local checks run in this browser. You can prepare related page titles and descriptions with the SERP Preview and Meta Generator.
